Highway Police, Randstad
The triangular form of the National Highway Police building in Waddinxveen directly follows the form of the site. The upper facade is covered with black stucco (Iston). The facade of the ground floor is made from industrial U-form glass showing the internal functional spaces. The offices are organized around a central hall with transparent photovoltaic panels on the roof. All the technical details of the building are inscribed on the floor by artist Milou van Ham.
